Results and Endorsements
The programme has been piloted in ten South West secondary schools, following earlier trials in three schools and we have now commenced a small scale roll out. Over half of the pilot schools were in deprived areas.
We plan to launch into a large number of schools in the academic year 2010 and are already in conversations with a significant number of Local Authorities and Schools.
The pilot results have been encouraging and the programme has been enhanced and developed based on the feedback from participants. Results have included enhanced self-belief, self-esteem and confidence, raising of aspirations, improved goal setting and inspired students and teachers.
Please look at some examples of qualitative feedback in our video and at the case study of Swindon Academy. This demonstrates what is possible in schools that run the programme.

Katharine Merry, Olympic medallist taking part in the programme.
"The programme has been a key factor in motivating the students towards their goals and in particular they have seen school as one of the stages on their journey and therefore school itself becomes more relevant and important."
Kevin Broadway, Deputy Head, All Saints, Weymouth
