Tower of London hosts Legacy for 21st Century

On Wednesday 12th October we were delighted to welcome Headteachers from across Greater London to our presentation being kindly hosted in the New Armouries Building at the Tower of London. Dr David Hemery CBE presented the Be the Best you can Be! Programme for Secondary and Primary Schools alongside two of our Paralympian Special Speakers, Ade Adepitan MBE and Danny Crates.

We were also joined by Teachers and Students from two Schools already running the Secondary Programme: King Alfred's, Wantage and Swindon Academy; and Barnfield Primary School, who were our pilot Primary School.

The event also featured the first showing of 'Erin's Song', written by Erin Duffy, a pupil at Barnfield Primary School who was inspired by the Programme she wrote the song 'Be the Best you can Be!'.  This was recorded with internationally acclaimed choir, VOCES8, and will be released on iTunes in late November.
