Engage and empower

Olympic champion David Hemery and his team welcome you to 21st Century Legacy.

"All young people deserve our support to enable them to fulfil their dreams and ambitions. Every one of them has huge potential and to succeed they need to develop life skills, confidence and a determination to achieve and overcome any barriers that are in their way. This is important for all our futures and we as adults need to be on their agenda and help them plan for success.

The Be the Best you can Be! Programme enables Schools to realise their individual vision and mission statements of enabling every child to achieve and succeed through raising aspirations and generating self-awareness and self-responsibility - the qualities of Champions. The Programme is already running in Schools across the UK with over 10,000 pupils taking part and has been shown to increase aspirations, build self-confidence and help them take greater personal responsibility.

We need your help to take this Programme out nationally across the UK to Secondary and Primary Schools and to give support to all our young people. I invite you to read about what we do  - download our brochure here - and please get in touch if you would like to be part of the Educational Legacy inspired by the London 2012 Olympics, the 21st Century Legacy."

Thank you,
David Hemery
